| Aviary at dawn |
The huge woven net aviary was the centre of attraction! Situated neath one of the sunsails, the colourful parrots and ground birds went about their business as usual - the Bower Bird taking advantage of the situation to build his own harem - regardless of the onlookers.
Each morning we arrived at 5am to brighten up the ferns and plants, to prepare the special foods, and refurbish in general.
The cock bower bird builds the bower to attract the hen, and it must be decorated with objects of blue...he gathers them from all over.
