The original Dungarees

The original Dungarees marched from Warwick to Brisbane visiting towns along the route, and encouraging more young men to join up in the army.

14 day tour includes an organised pilgrimage to Anzac Cove where 60000 lives were lost in 1915. After the dawn service, the pilgrimage will inspect the cliffs, trenches and graves of our fallen soldiers

 

Breaker Morant (The Breaker)
Harry The Breaker Morant  and Peter Handcock were executed by a firing party from the Cameron Highlanders, at Pietersburg, South Africa on the morning of 27th February 1902.  They are buried near where they were shot.

Bushrangers
"Such is life!!". Ned's final words on the scaffold. "Stand and deliver!" was the sentiment of so many defiant bushrangers, who saw themselves as defiant heroes,  conforming to romantic ballads of the trade.
