Introduction to About Birds

G'day Mate!

Welcome to Birds Down Under!!!

  • Greetings to all our visitors from your friendly Webmaster OZ_BIRD - Rebecca Bell
  •
  • Australia is often known as "Down Under", being located in the southern hemisphere and surrounded by the Pacific Ocean on the east and the Indian Ocean on the left side..
  • One of the many advantages of being an island continent is the fact that many of the current avian diseases are precluded from entering our country and native bird populations are being safely guarded against extinction thus enabling the next generation of Australia the pleasure of being able to enjoy them.
  • Being a competent breeder for the last twenty years, and during that time being editor of several bird magazines, your Host can offer you much expertise in avian experiences and shall be only too happy to answer any of your queries either in our weekly Chat Sessions or if you are unable to attend, by email oz_bird@ozbird.com or http://ozbird.com/askthevet/

    • My name is..Rebecca Bell

Visitors We Cannot Meet covers descriptions and pictures of overseas birds, both perching birds, water birds and waders. Here also is posted various other interesting items including Faces and Places - different aspects of American life and people met on the holiday.

Ozzifacts also, a history of the beta period of Windows 95 brings back memories of those early days of msn.. and covers the period up until the present when our forum has been placed on Internet, and accepted as an msn Content Provider.
