Whale Watching

Harvey Bay attracted national and international attention in the late '80's when it was discovered that the bay was a stop-over  point for the majestic hump-back whales on their annual migration route from mid August to mid October. A number of whale watching vessels now operate day tours during this period.     Come and watch this magnificent display of mammals and young as they splash and dive - . spectacular scenery and a must for the camera buff!!
