Blue-capped Cordon Blue Finch 
Uraeginthus cyanocephala

Native to Ethiopia to Tanzania (East Africa) This quiet 
finch makes a good aviary bird but is sometimes difficult 
to breed. It seems to breed more cocks than hens, and is 
best if housed one pair to an aviary. The will hybridise with 
other species of the Cordon Blue family.
