Fair Dinkum is an Australian saying which denotes one is telling the truth and the entire truth. There can be no disparaging  a statement which is followed by the phrase "Fair Dinkum".   It is just impossible to not believe.
"Fair Dinkum Mate" is as good as a contract or a
handshake. There is no wavering of the truth.
   It is just Fair Dinkum!

Fair Dinkum Bushells Tea and Lamingtons!

Gather some sticks,
       brush and kindling and get a good fire roaring. Fill billy
with water from billabong, bring to the boil,  then toss in a handful of eucalyptus leaves.  Swing the billy round your head three times and allow to settle.  Follow this procedure and you never get leaves in the mug.  Besides, it makes a bonza cuppa.

       Have fresh lamingtons ready, find a handy log, grab your
       mug of tea and Bob's your uncle!!

Fair dinkum DAMPER, baked in an earthern ware flowerpot, makes excellent home made bread - just try some and see as Meaghan is doing.
